My name is Katya Anastazia Souchitski. I have practiced competitive Rhythmic Gymnastics for 11 years, prior to beginning my college life. I have reached many achievements in my career, including the title of State Championship, Junior Olympic Team member, and even participating in the Special World Olympics opening/closing ceremony. My experience as a gymnast allowed me to find my passion to become a certified group fitness trainer, as well as a personal trainer. My goal is to be able to assist my clients in achieving their fitness/health goals. Through my years as a gymnast, I have learned what it is like to achieve a goal and the amazing feeling that comes within. I hope I can help others reach that feeling of accomplishment.
With my motivational training, I can highly guarantee great fitness results! If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me, I can’t wait to hear from you! Below is a video of a few of my competitions. I hope it inspires you and gives you that motivation to start checking off the list of fitness goals I hope you have been making.
As a published author of the book No One Can Fight But Me — where I discuss my battle with Anorexia Nervosa — I am an advocate for Eating Disorders, Mental Health Awareness, and Body Positivity. My goal is to help others, give them advice, as well as motivation that they are able to conquer the battle. Furthermore, I understand the struggles of hair loss and skin issues due to an eating disorder, so I am able to provide you with the perfect products that will allow you to get back your healthy hair and glowing skin! Check out my Skin and Hair Care Tips for more information!
My bachelor’s in Molecular and Cell Biology will grant me the opportunity to become a DPT, Doctor of Physical Therapy. There is a significant amount of individuals that struggle to gain their strength back after and during the recovery of an Eating Disorder, so my future goal as a DPT is to help individuals in the recovery gain their strength and “teach their muscles” how to properly function. As a survivor of Anorexia, I had difficulties coming back to gymnastics because I lost the mobility in my joints and the strength in muscles. I was able to not only come back to a healthy state but also build an athletic build with fitness training.
I am excited to continue my journey as a Mental Health Awareness, and Body Positivity Advocate, Fitness Trainer, Skin and Hair Care Consultant, and future Doctor of Physical Therapy.
